I am on the finish line, almost done, but today was a super hot day, so I could only work in the morning and as soon as it got super hot, my paints were not having it.  It was like painting with gum.  People of Gilroy like art and they are telling me, they stopped by with cold drinks and compliments! I love this project. It was hot and tough, but so worth it!.

I was really hoping I would be further ahead.  I still have the other two sides and when I finish those, I still need to do a lot of tweeking.  My Dad and Mom are keeping me shaded and fueled though!  Having lunch with them everyday is an added benefit to this project ; D

My Dad and Mom

Every day I have been painting this traffic box mural, my dad and mom have come out to support me. My dad brings me this huge umbrella, then they bring lunch and have it with me under a big tree in the parking lot.  Love them so much.  I finished up all the landscape part, now tomorrow on to all the produce!

The Spice of Life

This is how far I got on traffic box mural, number two, after two days.  OMG am I ever gonna feel like a total rock star when I am again painting in the comfort of my studio.  This has made me realize what a fat cat I am, painting without the sun, the wind, the bugs, the traffic!  My mom and dad come out every day, and my dad sets me up with a huge umbrella, then they bring me lunch and we eat it under the big tree at the art center, life is good.

Summer has Arrived Early

"School is Out!"

Summer isn't officially here, but it has arrived early.  It's predicted  to be in the 90's today, hot, hot, hot!  I will begin painting my 2nd traffic box mural today.  My dad is going to bring me a big, heavy umbrella so I don't melt. I will let you know how it turns out.
