Some Breathing Room

I love this area where I take my walks.  I am so glad to be able to walk there daily.  Helps me to stay positive and enables me to play nice with others! It also gives me plenty of subjects to want to paint.
This is a tight week, I had a show last weekend and another one this weekend, then I start the traffic box murals I have been commissioned to paint next week, but I'm not complaining, I love what I do ; )

Angelina

I had the pleasure of visiting a well kept, beautiful, serene garden.  It has given me plenty of inspiration.   Love days like that.

Taking Stock

My husband Mike is in the habit of bringing me flowers, mostly from our backyard but sometimes from the supermarket.  He brought these home one night, ordinary Stock flowers.  Simple really is the best. They deserved to be a painting.

Now Arriving

That's the name of this little painting.  I feel like I am now arriving, painting on some new surfaces that went over very well at my first show this season.  Another one this Saturday, so off to my studio, it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it ; )

First Show of the Season

I was at my first outdoor show of the season this past weekend.  One of my favorites, the Gilroy Assistances League, Impressions Home and Garden Tour.  GAL is made up of all volunteers and these are some of the nicest people ever. The house and garden where I was, is a paradise. I met lots of super people and 13 of my paintings went to their new homes. Great start!  I have another show this Saturday, at Fernwood Winery in Gilroy.  Located at the end of Redwood Retreat Road.  Could be a lot worse than to be in a beautiful redwood grove, eating yummy food, drinking wonderful wine, nibbling chocolate, listening to music and looking at art, this is another awesome show, hope to see you there!
