I really think the"Baloo"  from the Walt Disney movie, " Jungle Book"  had it right, the bear necessities are all you need. Somedays you need them more than others.  

I couldn't paint the great music playing in the background, but it was there too.

This and the last painting post were paintings done with the help of my brand  new easel I bought from Karin Jurick, Paint On Easels, made by Brett.  LOVE IT!!!!!

I really think this fire hydrant is Facebook for dogs.  Lucy, my Pug, has to stop here each day to sniff all the other dog's posts, then she has to post herself!

I hope I am able to handle everything that's coming my way, I have another traffic box mural I am starting in the next day or so.  This one is bigger and all four sides need to be painted.  I am trying to complete that and keep up with daily painting, I really hope I can get it all done without getting too burned-out ; ).

I finished up the first of my two traffic box murals today.  It was, of course, blistering hot the whole time I was painting it.  Then on the last morning as I am signing my name, I feel raindrops! weird.    I think after this, painting on the side of a busy road, in the intense heat for five days, painting in my studio will feel like heaven on earth. It was a really great way for me to get out of the box, no pun intended. I usually paint miniature paintings so I did have to stretch and I was challenged, but I think it was a good thing ; ).  Start my next one on Thursday.
